Your time at sea

This private day combines island exploration and fishing at selected spots in the northern waters. Look for paille-en-queue birds around Coin de Mire’s cliffs, snorkel with the crew and step ashore at Governor’s House Beach for swimming, light fishing or relaxation. Fish and wildlife encounters are never guaranteed. Blue Sensation is a 29-foot speedboat powered by two 140 hp engines, with a covered centre console, life jackets, a first-aid kit and distress rockets.

    Meet and embark

    Board at Sunset Boulevard.

  2. 09:00–09:45

    Coin de Mire fishing

    Depart toward Coin de Mire for light fishing and views of the cliffs, with possible paille-en-queue sightings.

    Gabriel Island snorkelling

    Enjoy a crew-guided snorkelling stop.

  4. 10:30

    Governor’s House Beach, Flat Island

    Disembark for swimming, light fishing or beach relaxation.

  5. 12:30

    Lunch aboard

    Enjoy your pre-ordered meal or your own lunch and beverages; mineral water is included.

  6. 14:15

    Fishing and return cruise

    Leave Flat Island and fish along the return toward Grand Baie.

    Return to Sunset Boulevard

  • Waterproof bag or backpack, sunscreen, hat or cap, towel and sunglasses
  • Cover-up, change of clothes, non-slip shoes and waterproof jacket
  • Insect repellent and motion-sickness medication if needed

The captain may change the route if sea conditions require it, for your safety.

Hotel transfers are not included. Indicative travel times: North 25 min; South 1 hr 30 min; East 1 hr; West 1 hr 30 min. Allow time to reach the meeting point.

Mineral water is included. Meals, snacks and other drinks are optional: pre-order from the Food & Beverage Selection or bring your own. Options include a sandwich lunch, onboard BBQ, wine, champagne and canapés.
