Submarine Dive

Descend 35 metres in an air-conditioned submarine to discover coral, marine life and the Star Hope wreck.

Your time at sea

Board BS1100 for a 40-minute underwater journey, part of a two-hour experience from Trou aux Biches. Individual viewing windows reveal the seabed, colourful corals, fish and the historic Star Hope wreck. A live television feed shows the submarine’s immersion from its deck camera, and you can watch the pneumatic valves operating the ballast system. Safety training and a full explanation of the excursion are provided.

Your itinerary

    Welcome and briefing

    Check in at the Blue Safari welcoming desk in Trou aux Biches.

  2. 15 min

    Transfer to Ti Betty

    Depart from the jetty by shuttle boat to the submarine base.

  3. 15 min

    Board the submarine

    Board BS1100, receive the safety briefing and begin immersion.

  4. 40 min

    Underwater exploration

    Dive to 35 metres to view the seabed, corals, fish and Star Hope wreck.

  5. 20 min

    Surface and return to the base

    Surface and return aboard Ti Betty.

  6. 15 min

    Return to shore

    Take the shuttle back to land, then receive your certificate and refreshment.

Hotel transfers are not included. Indicative travel times: North 25 min; South 1 hr 30 min; East 1 hr; West 1 hr 30 min. Allow time to reach the meeting point.

Suitable for couples, families, children and babies from 9 months.

In rough seas, Blue Safari may cancel the dive for safety and reschedule it for another day.

Eight sessions a day are advertised; exact departures must be confirmed.
